RICHARD MCKINLEY will be teaching a full week, plein air workshop in oils and pastels on September 14-18, 2009 (yes, that IS 2009!) from 9-5pm each day. This workshop is now open to all artists. This workshop is limited to 18 students. Richard's workshops generally fill quickly and are extremely popular. We were very fortunate to schedule this workshop for 2009! The Workshop fee will be $600. The $150 deposit is due at time of registration and is non-refundable. The balance of $450 is due April 1, 2009. No Refunds will be given unless a substitute artist is able to fill a cancelled slot. A waiting list will be maintained for this workshop. Scott is a BFA graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois.
He is a board member for the Oil Painters of America, member of The
Portrait Society of America, and The American Society of Portrait Artists.
Scott is currently working as a professional portrait painter, and he also
teaches landscape, and portrait painting at The Palette & Chisel Academy of
Fine Art in Chicago.
Scott is also the founder of "The Plein Air Painters of Chicago" group; a
weekly outdoor painting organization.

Skip Whitcomb will be giving a Plein Air Workshop sponsored by the Guild October 13-17, 2008 9-4:00pm ( however people can also stay and paint with Skip after 4pm ) Skip works and teaches in both oils and pastels. 14 People Maximum $150 non-refundable deposit due ASAP to the Guild Balance $450 due May 1, 2008 Total: $600 At this time, this workshop is only open to PAPJC and Guild members.
