Joe's interest in art started with his childhood drawings of WWII
planes. His formal training in oil painting includes courses at the
Art Students League, Ducret School of Art, and the Guild of
Creative Art.
Over the past two years, his tight, traditional style has slowly
become more impressionistic, owed mainly to painting en plein air
with the PAPJC. The subject matter of his paintings also includes
still life, portraits, and seascapes.
Joe's paintings have won awards in various art competitions, and
for the past two years his works were accepted for the Monmouth
Festival of the Arts.
