"Although my pastels
ultimately reflect the color,
the design and the subtle
forms of nature, I build these
effects on solid, formally
precise drawings."
My pastels have been published in One Hundred Ways to Paint the American
Landscape and American Artist magazine. I am a member of the Degas Pastel
Society, the Pastel Society of America, the American Impressionists Society, and
a Signature member of the Pastel Society of Cape Cod.
My paintings have been juried into pastel society shows throughout the U.S.,
where I have won numerous awards since working exclusively in pastels since
2001.
